Absolutely beautiful antique cabinet, parents purchased 40+ years ago in Germany. Unsure of exact age, although told at purchase in the late 60s that it was 200 years old. Handcarved solid oak, an apprentice piece, so one of a kind. Although it looks as if there are small pieces missing from the place below the top open doors, I have them and they simply need to be put back on place. I failed to do so before taking the pictures. Top removes from the base, otherwise would be far too heavy to move. Dovetailed drawers, amazing details, original key and hardware. So many different carving details. I have many more pics than can attach to this ad, but will be happy to email. A couple of, I feel, minor flaws. A small amount of water was spilled on the shelf area, leaving a small discoloration. Can easily polish out, or will disappear upon refinishing, if that's your intention. Also, more than 30 years ago our small puppy chewed slightly one corner. It's really such a small area at the botto

Very nice waterfall cedar chest, about 60+ yrs old (?). Latch works perfectly (must turn to open), but there is no key. A few very minor scratches and one small place where the laminate is loose on the bottom, but overall this chest is a very, very solid/sturdy piece. Inside is beautiful and outside is much nicer than most you will find. Measures 47"L x 21.5"H x 19"D. Upper hinged tray (see photo #2) works perfectly. I may consider partial trades, but obviously only if it is something that really interests me. Now this is an unusual lot! Let's begin with the caddy. The "Sew Tidy" was manufactured by the Edmilton Co. of Milwaukee, WI. I would say that this piece dates to the early 1900s. It is all original and even has remnants of the label still intact (see photo). This is the only one of its kind that I have ever seen that has beautiful beveled wooden panels in the framing instead of cardboard panels. It is truly a unique and rare piece. The blue fabric has deteriorated over time and has a crude repair for support (gives it character, but if you prefer, you could easily apply lace or trim over the area to hide it). The right panel is no longer perfectly straight and is missing 2 tiny dowels that hold thread (could easily be replaced if that bothers you or just do as in photo and fill space with collectibles.) The caddy is filled with a huge assortment of sewing collectibles dating from the Victorian era to the 50s. These include a brass needle case, paper advertising pieces (some pretty worn, others
