I have changed the oil every 3,000 miles. The body has 266,000 miles but the motor/transmission and clutch has approxitmately 126,000. If you want a convertible, now is the time to buy one. I have a black on black convertible. I put a new top on it in April. The top you see in these pictures is the old top.    1970 CHEVELLE 2dr PROJECT car 1970 CHEVELLE 2dr PROJECT car. This is a one owner Malibu that would make a good car if you wanted one to build yourself. The car has rust in lower front fenders that was not repairable so new fenders are included along with new radiator support both inner fenders new SS hood and the new hardware kit to assemble the front end. Other areas that will need attention are the rear lower quarters and the back glass area. This was not a vinyl top car but has rust at back glass. This is a bench seat 307 350 turbo with P/S and A/C that was working when front end was removed. The car is mist green with dark green interior. Again this is a project that needs work, but was driven on and off the trailer and does run.
