I have a Gibson Explorer guitar for sale that I bought new in 2003. Mahogany set neck and body. "Natural" finish with gold hardware Grover tuners The guitar originally came with 2 Gibson ceramic humbuckers, but I have swapped them with Seymour Duncan 59 model "Classic Covers". Those pickups have the gold covers on them. I also changed the Gibson volume and tone knobs with the vintage looking Amber colored top hat style knobs, and also the pickup selector switch cap has been changed to a vintage looking one. The original Gibson pickups, knobs and selector swith cap are included also. The gold finish on the bridge and bridge pickup has rubbed off some, but gives it a more vintage look. I did not play the guitar very much, so the frets are still excellent all the way up the neck. ( it was never gigged with, I only played it around the house) It does come with the Gibson Explorer hardshell case, but the combination lock is broken. It still latches with the latch
