Interior is in very good shape, exterior is good with some minor cosmetic defects (rust on rocker panel, some loose trim). Automatic transmission shifts well. I have a 1999 Dodge Intrepid that i bought locally last summer for a daily driver. It is a great, very clean and complete car. The inside looks new, and the outside has no dents. There are some minor scratches here and there on the paint, but its 10 years old. It has the infamous 2.7 v6 engine, but it has been very well maintained since it was new. I have records of the previous owner changing oil every 3000 miles, and since ive had it i have strictly changed the oil with castrol synthetic oil every 3000. Automatic transmission shifts smoothly, engine runs really good considering how small it is. The car is very optioned out.. AWD, 4 wheel disc brakes, cruise control, COLD BLWOING AC, heat works, am/fm cassette, power seats. I replaced the driver window motor last year, also replaced the rack and pinion steering. Since i bought the car, i have heard alot of horror stories about 2.7 engines, about how the oil cakes up inside, etc.. and i personally took off the oil pan and inspected the bottom section of the engine... it was very clean and no sludge buildup whatsoever. The car has 137,000 miles on it, but looking at it you would never know! its very clean and a really comfortable ride. Only reason i am selling is because i no longer have to drive my grandchilderen to school anymore, so i do not need the extra car sitting in the driveway. We call this car Frankie the Tank - it has many great qualities (body is almost perfect and interior is good as well), but it needs some mechanical TLC. I think this will be an excellent car for a do-it-yourselfer (someone who can do the mechanical work him/her self). At this point, it needs a water pump and brakes - including rotors. 1996 automatic, 161,000 miles will go another hundred thousand runs like new engine and tranny are great and clean. Power doors and locks, CC, $375 Uhaul tow hitch, CD player, Ice cold AC. I have driven this Pathfinder for a couple years and it has never, repeat never broken down other than needing brakes. I would never get rid of it but have recently gotten a DUI and have to pay my fines.The Bad- The drain tube to the sunroof came loose and I didnt realize how to easily fix the leak until after it leaked a while. The sunroof works but needs looked at and I can close it with the power button and lifting up at the same time with my hand and it doesnt leak but I took down the headliner to fix the drain tube that had came loose. Not very expensive estimate to put a new liner around the sunroof($140.00). Inside is still clean and looks good and this doesnt even bother me at all and has nothing to do with its running condition and still looks damn good.KBB is $3100-$3500 I am asking $2800 which is below KBB and will let you fix the sunroof and headliner.
