I have owned this boat for 4 years and it has been a great boat. It is a 1970 Glastron 147 MS the boat is 16 ft. The boat is fully camo, the motor and one seat are the only things on it not camo. I bought it with a 35hp motor but changed it to a 1975 Mercury 500 \"50 HP\". I went out tonight and dewinterized it and it started right up with no hesitation. It has a Hummingbird wide one hundred depth/fish finder and an All Terrain Turbo Minn Kota foot controlled trolling motor with 33 ft. pound of thrust. The only thing that is wrong is when I started it tonight it ran water for about 30 sec. and the stopped. So it will need a new impeller which is a cheap fix. I have a 1974 50hp Johnson motor. I got it with a project boat last fall, but decided to take a different direction. The previous owner said it ran good when he parked the boat. It sat for four years before I got it. After getting it home, I hooked it up to a battery, gas tank and water and it started right up. Sounds like it runs good. This is an extremely nice 2007 Triton 188SF with very low hours of use. There is no hour meter, but am estimating no more than 30 hrs of use. Mercury 150XL EFI was purchased already installed when the boat was purchased new. I am the 2nd owner. I purchased this boat from a gentlemen in Texas who was selling it for economic reasons. Here is a nice 1958 Evinrude Sportwin 10HP Outboard Motor off my boat I just recently purchased. This is a good motor. I needed a bigger motor so I have decided to sell this one. I did have a guy look at it right after I bought it and he said that:It has good sparkPumps good waterHas good compressionShifts into Forward, Neutral and Reverse goodStarts up with little effort. I did use it 5-6 times out on the lake and it did fine. I can start it for you, I have a hose and ears I can run it on the back of my boat. It does come with a 2 Line gas tank with new gas lines on it, it does not have a fuel pump. The tank holds good pressure and is in good shape for its age. Has nice paint on it, some scuffs here and there, but nothing out of the ordinary. The only problem it has is one of the seals in the lower unit went out, so it has been filled with White Lithium Grease (recommended to me by a guy that works on them). He said that is cheaper than taking the whole lower unit apart and trying to replace all the seals. It still runs good and functions properly.
