I had a buyer on this, but it fell through. Im hoping to find a real taker on this soon...Up for sale is a Fender Power Chorus amplifier. Solid state operation, but a very well designed Fender sound. Sparkling cleans, growling distortion. This model even features a \"parallel channel\" feature which allows you to run clean AND distortion at the same time- you get the perfect clarity of a solid state Fender clean, plus the creamy sustain of the distortion channel. The real gem in this box, though, is the chorus. The beautiful sound is what made me trade in my Marshall for this baby. I do need to point out that one of the knobs in the chorus channel has broken off, but it was like that when I bought it nearly ten years ago, and Ive never missed it. Seems like it would be an easy fix if you wanted that functionality.The amp has 2 effects loops- one in the back and one on the front panel. The back loop even has a level attenuator- dial up or down your gain to drive your effects how YOU want. Ive never seen this feature in another amplifier. In addition to its normal usage, I used it to daisy chain the amp to a bass amp for loud outdoor shows, and it also worked great for running directly into the PA.I had to scour the web for a footswitch for this amp, but finally found a 4 button switch that controls channel switching, boost (its got a user defined boost gain- dial in your regular dirty tone at 3 and your boost at 5 if you want... or put your regular tone at 1 and boost at 10... its a feature that few amps have anymore), chorus, and reverb on/off. The footswitch and a generic cable for it are included.The amp comes with casters on the bottom for easy moving and with a generic cover that slips over the top. I intentionally didnt get the \"Fender\" cover- this advertises your gear to would-be thieves.Anyway, times are tight and I need some bill money. I downsized from this 130W monster to a small 40W tube combo, and cant really afford to have this sitting around as a backup anymore. $250 OBO- the last would be buyer offered me $200 and I accepted... then he backed out. This amp will absolutely compete with any halfstack out there, if you are so inclined. Its also easy to move from place to place. Up for sale today, weve got a Dean SS series Strat-style guitar. Its a discontinued guitar that Im told was made in the USA. Do not confuse this with the junky Strat-styles that Dean has been outsourcing to China lately! Its got a beautiful transparent red finish with a pearloid pickguard, set up with high output S-S-H configuration pickups. It also features the now discontinued \"duckbill\" style Dean headstock which, in my opinion, is far more attractive than the new \"split\" version. The headstock is equipped with high quality Grover tuners, so you wont have to retune after every song.Its about ten to twelve years old, and has been babied in my hands for about four. Knowing the previous owner, I do know that it was bought used two years before I got it in its current condition (I was along for the ride on the purchase), and sat in its case until I bought it. I know nothing about the original owner. All in all, its aging very nicely. The only finish flaw is a 1\" chip on the upper horn. It was there when my friend bought it six years ago, and it hasnt changed one millimeter since then. The plastic cover for the truss rod has started to bow from the tension of the screws, but thats pretty typical, and doesnt affect playability, sound, etc.Now, down to the nitty gritty. How does it PLAY? The neck is a little flatter than a typical Strat-style, so it feels more like my Les Paul than my Stratocaster. Fretwork is great, no buzz even at the low action I always prefer. The single coils are pristine, and the humbucker just roars. As I mentioned above, these pickups are about the highest output Ive seen (short of active). If you leave the volume control wide open, the humbucker can push any amp into natural overdrive, which is a cool ability to have. Roll back just a little, and it cleans up nicely. The single coils are similarly high output.Let me tell you, I primarily used this guitar to play in a church praise and worship band, and I could play the whole range of styles I asked of it- sparkling cleans, creamy distorted tones, chunky rhythms, singing leads... Everything responds nicely and feels totally in control. Of course, youll just have to play it to believe it.Unfortunately, when I moved to Manhattan and stopped playing in that church praise band two years ago, I started playing this guitar less and less (actually started playing ALL my axes less and less), so now Im trying to pare down. Im asking $175 or best offer- I paid $200 for it four years ago.Its a great, versatile guitar, but dont take MY word for it. Here are some quotes from harmony-central.com:\"I love this Guitar! We have a J. W. Jenkins Sons Upright Grand Piano. It has been recently refinished, but the piano is out of tune and we have been told that is has a cracked sound board. There are a few white marks along the front that you can see in the picture that happened when it was moved in. They can possibly be removed with some refinishing products, not sure. There are also some missing ivories, however I do have some to replace the missing ones if you would like those. It also has one loose caster (wheel) on the bottom. Sorry, we cannot deliver. From a smoke-free home and no steps to get it out of the house. However, it is very heavy.
