Lawnboy 2 Cycle Lawnmower 21" 1980 Good Condition Here is a 21" lawnboy model # R7070 that was made in 1980. The engine is an F series and it is in the 100 group which were built in the 1980s for families that had large yards that needed alot of gas to mow. It is a 32:1 ratio gas 2 cycle, which is great for hills etc you dont have to worry about the oil shifting on you as its already mixed together! This mower starts and runs fine works reliably and very easy to start. Just turn the switch to on and prime it 5-6 times and pull the string 2-3 times if that and it starts right up and runs great. It is very light weight design that has the fuel shut off and a high low engine speed control that (works but is a little loose needs a spring). This mower has a sharp blade, fresh spark plug and new air filter. It has the side discharge cover installed you can add but it itsnt included install a mulch kit or bag. I have used this mower several times since i bought it without any problems it is ready to add fuel fuel and oil and mow. Two cycle mowers are not available to purchase new any more and are getting harder and harder to find and are great for mowing less then level ground and it wont starve for oil like the new 4 cycle mowers do. Right now it has the mulch kit installed with the mulch blades shute cover and all. I have recently installed a new deck drive belt and tension spring, PTO idler pulley and Hydro fan. The battery is only a month old and the blades have been sharpened. It has the Kohler 12.5 hp engine which is very strong. i have about a 30 degree incline in my back yard and it climbs it without a problem. Seat has a couple of splits on the outside edges and the rider shows sign of being used but not abused. His vaccines were updated in March 2009. Negative Coggins. His feet were done in May 2009. He had sheath clean and float in May 2009. I have been riding him English but he has also had western training for 30 days. He loads well the two times he has been in a trailer and bathes well. He doesnt love the farrier but will stand for him but may fidget a bit. He is sound and healthy.He could be a lower level dressage prospect, equitation or possibly a jumper prospect? He was ridden western and on trails before I bought him.
