It drove fine and had a strong motor. Now it seems to have a problem with the starter or something. Someone had bypassed the ignition and put in a start button. That could be the problem. I have had a couple of people tell me it is probably just the cables from the batter to the starter, since it has started a couple of times since. Rough exterior, cracked windshield. Interior needs door panels, seat belt (drivers seat), and a real good cleaning etc.. 15\" tires with aluminum allow wheels. It is 4x4. There is an exhaust leak. Not loud. It definitely needs some work. Engine seems fine, will need a tune up and oil change. This is a Salvage title, will need to fix the exhaust leak to pass inspection. $400.00 OBO Battery has dead cells, but still didnt start with jump. Be prepared to haul it away. She sounds fine.What we have here is a good car that I dont have time to work on. She has an oil leak (slow) at the head gasket from the oil jacket to the water jacket. This means I get oil in the water but never any water in the oil. This has been going on for some time and has been hard to pin down. She started going through hoses because the oil weakens the latex in the hose (we all know not to use a petroleum based lube on latex, now dont we.) Anyway, I noticed the oil and took her to the shop and had the turbo pulled thinking perhaps it was in those oil cooling tubes that I was losing the oil. Nope, had the turbo tested and it came back in excellent shape. So Im down to the head gasket. A cracked head and I would be seeing spew from the engine or exhaust -- Im not. Just oil in the cooling line. Well, this has finally clogged the radiator. I could replace that and keep going (I still might) but I would like be able to fix her right. I have pulled heads on many makes and even rebuilt engines. Alas, this time I havent my tools or the space.
