I built this myself to accommodate more space in my room when I was going to college. It worked very well for me and my nephew has been using it for the last couple of years. When I built it I spent considerable time on design and construction. The desktop is consistent with a regular desk height. I put Plexiglas over each of the 3 surfaces to provide a smooth writing surface unfortunately the plexi has been broken over the years. You are welcome to the pieces, a couple of them can still be used. The materials are all standard dimension lumber and it is all bolted or screwed together. It can be broken down into smaller more manageable pieces, otherwise it is fairly heavy. The sleeping area accommodates a full size mattress. I always used a futon mattress. There is an additional bookshelf space to the right side of the desk both above and below the writing surface. I never sanded or finished the wood with either paint or clear coat. You can easily sand and paint it any way you like. The pictures don’t really do it justice. This was well built if not overbuilt. I wanted to make sure it would stand up over time. Barring a fire I’m guessing it will provide many more years of service. There are places where the wood has split or broken away that could stand to be replaced. It has been taken apart again because we needed to move it out of the house it was in. I can deliver it for a fee based on where you are and help you put it back together. We are selling a beautiful solid wood cabinet we purchased at NFM 5 years ago. It retailed for $4000. It can be used for a TV or for clothing (there are brackets for a pole in the top to hang clothing). The back panel of the cabinet is also solid wood and slides up and snaps into place if you use the cabinet for a television. There are two drawers directly below the tv that are felt lined. In the bottom half of the cabinet there are two deep drawers on the left and an adjustable shelf on the right. This armoire is two pieces (top and bottom) to ease in moving it. There is a 1\" scratch on the shelf that holds the TV otherwise the cabinet is in great shape. The TV in the picture is a 42\" TV and the interior space is 41.5\" wide. Beautiful, king size wooden bed for sale. Pictured is the frame, the bed and the mattress sticker; the box springs are included as well. Bed is in great condition, originally bought for about $2200, now asking $1000 obo. It doesnt fit in our bedroom, a little too big, so you might as well get use out of it! (Bed is approx. 2 years old, medium-firmness on mattress, and I need to sell the bed with the frame, no separation.)
