LOOKING FOR A RENTAL HOME 2009-01-18 9:56AM
Hello, Im a 24 year old looking for a home to move my daughter, fiance and I in April 1st. Ive been on my current job for a year and a half and my last job I was there for 3 years. No gap in employment between the two. Heres the thing, I have an eviction on my record from 5 years ago, and alot of leasing offices will not approve me because of that alone. On Christmas Eve, my fiance got laid off from his job, due to economic issues but hes getting unemployment. Even with his checks or not, I still can afford to rent a nice house. I want to buy a house, but with credit issues, I need to clear debt up before I go to a lender or first time buyer program. Were really good people, and have the references to back it up. I also want to live in a home before I began the process of buying one because I want to see if its something that I really want to do. Heres what Im looking for, a 3-4 bedroom home, split level, with at least 2 bathrooms, in South Kansas City area (red bridge) or Grandview area. I also want the option to get a dog.
