Selling a MOTU 896HD recording interface. This is a great unit for your studio. 8 XLR or 1/4" inputs; 8 XLR outs; balanced outputs; optical outs; -10, fixed, or +4 input level selection; Word clock connections; +48v Phantom power on each channel. It runs via firewire and works great. There are 2 small issues. 1: gain pots are a little scratchy. They scratch when turning up or down, but do not affect the sound quality otherwise. 2: one of the rear firewire ports does not work. The other one is perfectly functional. If you need to daisy chain it with another unit it works great with a firewire hub. Other than these two small issues it's an amazing unit that has served me well for many projects. Asking $400.00. I have a custom made PRS Standard made for Jim Root of Slipknot when he was endorsed by them in the early 2000's. Guitar was used to record the album Iowa and used on the following tour. It's made from Private Stock mahogany. Brazillian Rosewood fretboard with 24 frets and Moon inlays. Solid black. 2 EMGs with 1 volume knob and a 3 way blade switch. Back is personalized and signed by Paul himself. 1 of 6 or 8 made (can't get a straight answer) but this one is the only black one with nitro finish. All the other black ones were flat black so it's one of a kind. Monster tone, easy playability and in great shape. Some worming on the back and a chip or 2 is about it. $2500 cash. The cabinets are a bit worn and the grilles have some scratches, but they in no way affect the performance of the speakers. This drum is a hand made 6x14 steel snare drum. The shell is made of naval grade extruded steel tubing that was originaly almost an inch thick. Once rough cut I machined the drum myself on a lathe until I reached the correct outer diameter for a 14" drum and then lathed the interior of the drum to clean it up and achieve a manageable weight. This drum still weighs a ton... The bearing edges are rounded 45 degree to give the drum a really fat tone, but still retaining amazing sensitivity. One side effect of the sheer mass of this drum and the copied "Hinger" style snare bed is the amazing volume that it can achieve with no distortion of sound. Not only is this drum sensitive, but it is the perfect drum if you have to play an arena rock gig with no mic. Rim shots sound like a gun going off. The finish is a custom powder coat that is black with gold flake and finished with gold tube lugs and die cast rims. The strainer is by Nickleworks and also finished in black and gold. I have a month old Lanikai LU-21 soprano ukulele for sale. Very nice uke for someone starting out. Still have the box, comes with a chord sheet and beginner song book. Lanikai uses premium Aquila Nylgut strings which adds to the great sound of this instrument. I'm only selling it because I have been bitten by the bug and have already bought a "nicer" ukulele.
