Here is another of my favorite types of antique jewelry. These lavaliers can date back to the early 1800's. This one is stamped 10K yellow gold with a gorgeous blue saphire, two rows of tiny seed pearls, a baroque freshwater pearl dangle, and leaves colored with a greenish tint. Yes, they could do this way back....even before the Black Hills came up with the idea. The length of this lavalier is approx. 1 3/4" from bale to the tip of the baroque pearl. The saphire is a very pretty medium blue color. These won't be found much anymore as time passes, so get your collection started.
