For sale is a 1972 Honda CB175 Super Sport K6. The only part that is not stock on this bike is the rear exhaust pipes which were high quality after market replacement set. Up for sale is another of those projects that I just seem to never get around to.This is a nice Kawasaki KDX 80 that ran like a dream until it quit getting spark. I had a guy look at it, and he said the stator was bad. I have since acquired a couple of other engines and an extra frame, and Im pretty sure I have all the parts necessary to get it running again (just not the time or inclination). My kids have all outgrown the frame on this bike, but not the power. I rode it around a couple of times, and at 64\" and 325 pounds it had plenty of power (though Im sure I looked like a polar bear on a tricycle). The tires are in pretty fair shape though they both have slow leaks (I had to air them up about once a week). The back edge of the seat and the back edge of the rear fender are a little rough. The motor has loads of compression and the clutch and gears all functioned fine. Just picked up this Ninja 250 a couple weeks back and I havent heard the end of it from my fiance. I need to pay off a small debt quickly to the credit union and it forces me to sell this bike. It is in excellent running condition and looks excellent. It has some minor scratches and a couple nicks in the tank. 2 owners before me had laid it down and the owner previous to me had all of the fairings replaced. The bike rides straight and true and will do freeway speeds. I used it to commute to work back and forth 240 miles round trip on the freeway. Tachs out at 14,000 rpms and cruises 75 at about 9500 rpms. Max speed for the bike is 102 mph. For the price it is an awesome deal. The bike just turned 14,000 miles but these are good for 100,000 plus before a rebuild is necessary. It gets 62 mpg in town at speeds of 55 and under, and 50 mpg on the freeway. If youre looking for a nice bike that is very fast for being only a 250 cc engine than this is the bike. Easy to handle and maneuver and flat out a fun bike. Im 220 lbs and it takes me anywhere.
