I worked on / restored this motor over the last two years as a hobby / project with plans to put it on a flat bottom aluminum for playing in the area rivers, but have yet to find the right boat I wanted, and now have other projects with higher priority, so I regrettably am going to sell it.F.Y.I. - Outboard jet pumps loose a little horse power in the impeller, so a 70hp with jet is equivalent to a 50hp outboard with prop. This a VERY NICE 2001 Yamaha 25 HP motor with tiller handle, electric start and is VERY DEPENDABLE. I have not had to push the start button more than once to get it going. The motor comes with a 1988 14 Ft Lund aluminum boat with flat floor, two trolling motors, two batteries with connections for one more in front, gas tank, 2ea 100 watt halogen lights on front, seats and Ez-Loader trailer. The boat is pretty much decked out for day or night fishing or duck hunting.I am selling this boat and motor because we have more than one boat, this one does not get used that much and the other needs a new, larger motor.Willing to negotiate. Ok so here the the deal I posted this the other day had a guy interested in seeing it so as the person I am I told other people that were interested to wait. The guy was suppose to look at it friday than he said saterday and in this time a lot of people got told they had to wait cause we wanted to give the first responce the first chance to view it.
