I have an original Ford Custom 500, or a barebones Galaxy 500 is what more people would recognize it as. It has a 250 6 cylinder in it with a 3 on the tree and 4 wheel drum brakes. It needs a gas tank, rust got the best of the one that was under it, but it could probably be repaired. It does have surface rust, but I have only found one area that has rot, and that it under the d. side rear. The engine starts and runs and was actually rebuilt about 25 years ago, or less than 1000 miles ago. This was my great grandfathers car that he had since the late 60s and like I said it is all original. Even down to the original bias plies on it. The interior will need work too, but is all there. If a person wants to give me the right amount of cash for it, I will even throw in a 390 big block for it. I would love to fix this car up myself, but with things as they are I am afraid that it would just sit and go to waste before I can. Trades that I would consider are a running/driving small pickup, preferably an extra cab but I would look at anything, a running/riding street bike, preferably over 500cc. 8 foot camper with cab over bunk, 3 way fridge , stove , oven , furnace, built in poddy spot, hydrolic jacks , everything works . We are looking to rent or barter our boat lift at Carlin Bay on Lake CDA for the 2009 Season. We no longer have a boat and it seems like a waste to just leave this lift vacant for the season. This lift is electric and will hold up to a 25 ski boat. The docks will not be moved back in to place until close to the end of the month. The dock that sits next to this lift is our personal dock and we are renting the boat lift only.....not the dock. Your boat can be lifted clear out of the water which provides great protection for your boat. The price for the use of this lift is $1000 for the season....now until the end of September. This is actually less expensive than most moorage on CDA Lake. We are located a short distance from Carlin Bay Resort and this lift is very easy to access by beach from the resort.
