Authentic, the string in the back broke but could be fixed, the string is still with the doll. Authentic clothes, looks to be missing boots if it at one timehad any. Antique cast iron and enamel wood cook stove Made by Steiger & Kerr stove and foundry co. San Francisco California All original......Has original manufaturers plate on it with the model number and series #. The stove foundry information is cast into the side of the stove also. The stove is missing a few small parts, but nothing that cant be easily fixed. The stove is actually in great condition considering its age. The switch on the back to switch it from just heating to baking works fine ( its basically the flue), There are no cooking racks inside the oven, and one of the fire grates is parially burned through ( but is still useable).....I think there is a knob or two missing, and the ash box needs to be modified a little bit. Everything on it is original except for one burner that has been replaced sometime in the stoves long life. Unless you really know what your looking at, you would never know though. Also the oven door latch is broken, you can get a replacement for it though for a reasonable price, I think they are pretty cheap. I started restoring it and came to a standstill. Pretty much all I have done is cleaned it up, put it together, and put a good coat of stove black on all the parts you can see that needed it. I grew up on a sheep ranch here in Idaho and my Mother fed our entire family and a number of hired hands from a wood cook stove and I learned to cook on one. This is a good cookstove! My Mother would have loved to have had this one. Its an oldy but a goody. I was asking $850 for it.... but I need the money so I am going to come down to $500 on it (208) 549-0929 I might negotiate a little bit on the price.....these stoves sell for several thousand or more when fully restored, and there is a ton of antique/old stove restoral sites on the internet that sell every part imaginable for old stoves! I bought this stove from a friends parents who had just bought a house in Vale, OR and this stove was in their shed in peices. I fell in love with it and had to have it. I LOVE this stove and Im having a hard time parting with it, but I dont have the time to restore it like it should be done, and I need the money.
