Bought the trailer last fall and was told that the reefer unit had just stopped working prior to my buying the trailer- the trucking company did not know why it stopped working and they did not check - they just sold it with the trailer.So, I cannot tell you why it does not work, all I know is it just stopped working (for whatever reason) just before I bought the trailer. Might not take much to get it working or could just be good for parts only.
