My home is a single family, 1400 sq. ft. home on a quiet street, but not far from Midland Blvd. It is inhabited by a non-smoking, non-partying middle-aged woman. I am currently a student; previously I was a middle school teacher. I have two medium-sized dogs, both very friendly. Great watch dogs; they are walked frequently by me on leash, and I clean up after them regularly. You must like dogs or this wont work. You will not be permitted to party at my home, so if you are looking for a place to party or you are a lazy slob, this isnt it. I will wait for a decent roommate rather than snatch up a partier to just get a roommate. My house is liveable, and the furniture is nice, so I would expect my roommate to be comfortable but clean up after him/herself. The person I am looking for will have one bedroom with queen size bed, a set of drawers and a small desk as well as one bathroom with tub and shower. Not enough room will be available for a couple. The backyard has a covered patio with twinkle lights, a porch swing, table/chairs, and is fenced and of course, you are welcome to sit out there. The house is only two years old, as is the small subdivision. If you choose to use the Internet, you will be required to split the $39.00 a month fee, through Qwest, with the exception of PORN which is NOT allowed on my computer by anyone! My modem also supports Wi-Fi so if you bring your own laptop, it can be connected. Your bedroom is cable ready; however I do not currently have cable, and do not plan on getting it just for myself. I would consider splitting the bill.The washer/dryer and towels are included as are the dishwasher, and microwave, and all kitchen privileges. The family room, TV room, gas fireplace, front porch are all yours to enjoy. Utilities such as water, sewage, garbage, heat, A/C, etc will be provided at no cost to the renter. We keep the place nice and clean and really dont require much from roommates as long as youre respectful of the community spaces and clean up any big messes you make, and put your dishes in the dishwasher rather than piling them in the sink... we vacuum and mop and stuff so no worries there. Everyone here is mid-late 20s-30s so we are all working professionals and realize the need for quiet nights and not being rowdy. We have lots of positive references from past roommates and expect you to have the same to show us! Male or female, our home is co-ed. Please no insane, crazy, or otherwise freaky people. We are all friendly and social but respect your space. A great place to be! Our rooms always fill fast and we occasionally have a waiting list. Been renting great little apartment for over a year, and I just found a new opening. I will have to pay all of Julys rent... But I will not be here for July, but you can be!!! I will pay half the months rent, if you will pick up the other half for July. Monthly rent after that is $275, all utilities paid except electric, and landlords are VERY chill. No pets, my current roomate Vanessa may or may not be staying here; but the rent is set month to month so its totally up to you how long you stay/if she moves out you can move someone else in.
