Rafters and Boaters: Here’s the last sand stake you will ever need to buy. These are heavy duty, tempered aluminum sand stakes, made from recycled aluminum. Having beat up several of the aluminum sand stakes offered by other companies, we came up with our own beefed up version. These stakes, made from ¼” thick tempered aluminum, are considerably more durable than what is out there. In addition to the sand stakes, we also have tarp stakes in the same style, but tarp stakes have slightly different dimension, see below. Sand Stake Dimensions (see pic at left): 3 wide (each side) and 21 long, and ¼” thick. Two holes drilled near the top are 7/8” in diameter, and beveled to reduce abrasion. Tarp Stake Dimensions (see pic on right): 3 7/8” wide (each side) and 18” long, also made from ¼” thick tempered aluminum. Mounting holes (we added a third hole for extra anchor point options) are also 7/8” in diameter, beveled to reduce abrasion.
