About Us: Huntington Learning Center, founded in 1977, is the nations oldest provider of supplemental education. Everyone wears many hats and gets exposed to a variety of challenges. The Managing Director is responsible for ensuring that every student who attends the center receives the best education possible. They will meet with parents on an on-going monthly basis to ensure commitment to the Huntington program. Managing Director will report to the Center Director and will be responsible for specific operational goals. These include revenue, marketing, and cost management goals. Managing Director candidates must love working with students of all ages and have experience demonstrating this. Each team member is responsible for participating in community and marketing events.Candidate Requirements: · BA / BS required · Teaching / Counseling / Coaching experience preferred · Teaching certificate is highly desirable, but not required · Communication and listening skills· Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships · People skills· Effective decision making skills -- ability to analyze information and consider priorities · Effective leadership and management skills in a changing environment · Capable of profit and loss responsibility for an organization through setting financial goals and creating and managing budgets · Excellent people skills including delegation, giving feedback, promoting teamwork, and performance management· Able to handle customer concerns in a calm and positive manner To Apply: Send resume and cover letter, complete with salary history and requirements, to the link below.
