I just sprayed new ultra flat military hmwvv tan paint on the body with rhino lining on inside of tub, wheel wells, frame and front bumper. This also has a 3in body lift that compliment the brand new rims and tires...the tires are BRAND NEW AWESOME!!! 33x12.50R15 Yokohama Geolander M/Ts that will take you anywhere! I built this truck for me, the way I like it for hunting, camping, and playtime with the family. I am prior ARMY Special Forces and an Afghanistan Veteran, I biuld things that are tough, can last, and are functional. I have the same paint I used for the truck in spray cans ready for any brush scratch touchups after a trip in the woods. I am sick of being scared to scratch a paint job, so I made myself a truck that I wont care to get a little dirty once in a while. I am selling because I now need the money for more important things... like mortgage. Ok, lets discuss rust: This is was not 100% rust free before I painted it, but close. I sanded any rust down really well and pretreated with rustoleum paint as a primer before the paint or bedliner was applied. There are no rust holes in it and the body is in great shape, but not 100% perfect...maybe 96% perfect. Ask me for any specific pictures, and I will email them to you. This could easily be a show winner truck if someone wanted to take the time and really sand this truck down on the outside of the body really well and put a nice glossy paint job on it, but if you actually plan on using this truck for fun, hunting, four wheeling, or rock crawling, then the ultra flat tan is your best option. I will include 2 brand new cans of touch up paint (1 black, 1 tan) in spray cans for this truck. The only thing that needs to be done to this truck is to get new disc brakes in the front (they just started to squeak), and put a rear bumper on it (I took the bumper off that came with it because it was ugly and not original, put a brand new original bumper already powder coated black from Speedway Motors = $140.00). As is, no warranty. Must be a bidder to ask for specific pictures, but if you are, then I would be happy to talk to you on the phone and take any pictures you would like. This truck is for sale on boise.craigslist locally for $6,300 OBO so the auction might end early if I make a local sale. One more thing, if you are a Chevy guy, then you will notice the the hood and the front grill are from a 1967 Chevy truck, while the rest of the body is the original 1972. I really like the look of the 67 front clip better anyway. Someone before me dented the front bumper, grill and a little bit of the hood, thats why the hood and grill are different and I put on a new original bumper from a 1972 Blazer. There is absolutely no frame damage or any other damage, just some dented metal that nobody wanted to fix, so it was replaced.
