i first learned to surf at publics in town. after getting about a ding a day i started fixing my own boards. trial and error with researching and learning the best ways to go about fixing boards.i still wouldnt want to fix a buckle all the way across a board or piece together a board that has been broken in half. its very hard and time consuming. Anything else.....i will, and can do. Any rail dings, regular dings, cracks, punctures, fiberglass decay and small amounts of de-lamintation. i really just want to fix everday dings cheaper so you can get back out in the water. i went and got my board appraised one time at a ding shop and for some small rail dings from a collision on the north shore, they were going to charge 250$...damage that i fixed perfectly for under 70$ so shoot me pics of the damage, shoot me a call and i can check it out. if its super small? then its gonna be super fast and cheap. i can show you all of my boards that ive done previous work on and give you references to friends that have had me do their surfboard repair. i can generally get your board back to you in a day fixed and ready. This is a Pacific Fitness Catalina system that was purchased for over $5000. It’s been used only slightly over the years and is still in awesome condition! None of the heavy duty padded seats or padded grips show much sign of wear . The only difference between mine and the one in the picture are the stack covers (the tall purplish things), which were not available at the time of my purchase. Brief Description: This is a “triple-stack” system. It includes three independent stations, each with its own weight stack consisting of the following plates: 1 – 5 lb cap plate 5 – 5 lb weights 10 – 10 lb weights 5 – 15 lb weights =================== total: 205 lbs per stack That’s 615 pounds of weights! The system utilizes very heavy duty steel cables and pulleys. All cables are coated with an attractive black plastic coating. Everything is pretty much maintenance free. The only thing to do is apply a small amount of silicone gel lubricant to the vertical stack guide rods every six months or so. Included: The list of items in this sale includes: the complete tri-station Catalina complete with the lat pulldown bar, 18” curl bar, double grip bar, and the official Catalina exercise poster (approx 38”x24”) which shows the details for all 40 exercises this system is capable of. Regarding Assembly: I have completely disassembled and moved this system several times. It is not a complex job, but it does take several hours of fairly tedious work. The assembly manual helpful but I’ve marked all the cables when I took her apart. Make sure you have enough space. The unit requires an 8’ x 13’ footprint area with 7’ vertical clearance. The 13’ requirement is to accommodate the long side consisting of stations 1 and 3. Station 2 ( leg curls, etc.) is on one side in the middle and requires only 6’ 8”. If the unit is centered in an 8’ x 13’ space there will be ample clearance for all the exercises. Notes: o This is definitely commercial grade equipment used by lots of health clubs and hotels. Damn. This is killing me to do but I really just dont ride this board anymore and I just broke my favorite fishing pole..Its 90 x 21 7/8ths x 2 15/16ths with the J-1 rocker . J.Hodge shape. Siiiick high performance long board. But very stable for new surfers too. Yes it has been dinged and yes it has been fixed and is water tight. I always either fixed dings myself immediately or had them fixed if I was low on time. I have NEVER stuffed wax in a ding. I dont have a lot of time to B.S. about this board or I would. I really just want someone to come, pay me and take it so it is less painful. It really has served me well. I dont really like talking on the phone either so send me some emails asking when and where etc.. and Ill reply really quickly (Blackberry :) ) I had this up for sale once before and I got TONS of emails and people really wanted it but I couldnt let go.
