Circa 1973 Rolex Explorer II collectors item in MINT condition. This stainless steel Rolex Explorer ll (model 1655) was purchased new in 1973 for $750.00. Since then this timepiece has become a collector’s item. New the Explorer is now retails for $5,000.00 and the prices go up EVERY YEAR! This particular watch was sent to the Rolex FACTORY in 2002 and fully reconditioned and is as clean as they come. Ive had this Jeep (one of many I have had over the years and they are GREAT!) since 1999. I brought it with me from So. California. The history on this vehicle is the first owner was a lady doctor who drove the Jeep as a family wagon so I highly doubt that she ever took it off roading.My good friends bought the Jeep from their friend the lady doctor. My friends wife was a massage therapist and she drove the Jeep around Laguna Beach which is a 9 1/2 sq. mi beach town so she didnt take it off roading either. I bought the Jeep from my friends in 1999 when they were moving from So. Cali to Kauai and for some reason the dummies didnt want to take the Jeep with them so I got it and brought it to Maui. I have the receipts from both owners plus the ones that I have for work that I have had done over the past 10 years.The Jeep has 158K miles on it and it had $136K miles on it in 1993 when it came to Maui.The interior is 99% mint. The ladies dove it in a skirt and it has had seat covers on it the whole time. The Jeep has only 5K miles on the 31\" tires, 5K miles on new breaks, a new battery, new starter, new radiator 2 years ago, new water pump 2 years ago and a lot of oil changes every 3K miles.It also has tinted windows. Unfortunately, the paint isnt much to look at anymore. I was perfect when it arrived on Maui in 1999 but you know how the Maui sun and salt air is.The Jeep also has a receiver hitch (trailer hitch), AM/FM/CD with remote, alarm system, factor roof rack current safety and registration and everything works!It has just a few small rust spots that I had repaired and premiered. So, the Jeep is dark green whats left of the paint on the top sides, with NICE tan interior (no cracks in the dash).The Jeep will be available on or about June 29th or sooner. I am moving to Bali and this has to come off with perfect timing so I am not renting a car and my Jeep is not on the side of the road when I leave. Actually, I have a good friend who can handle any transactions for me if I leave early. I am scheduled to leave Friday June 19 but I am going to have to put that back so I will have time to pack and it is already Sunday at 11:07 PM.You can see a photo of what my Jeep looked like when it got here in 1999. The paint WAS flawless; I wish I had had a garage. The Jeep runs PERFECT and is 100% reliable, and the interior is 99% mint but, the paint isnt much to look at. Take em to Oahu on the Super Ferry and have em painted there for cheap and you have a GREAT Jeep with 4x4 that has never been off roaded or abused.
