So, please note the new rent amount to $750 from $895!! I am seeking a trustworthy, mature, adult, professional, non-smoking roommate to share 2Bd/2Bth/2 Parking condominium at the Regency Park next to the Chaminade University/St. Louis HS campus. This is a highly-desirable complex where units seldom become available. My cousin/former roommate is now happily married and is moving out. Female preferred, but will consider responsible, respectful male. There is another ad out for $1050 for the larger bedroom, but I thought the smaller room (102\" x 86\") and lower rent ($750) might appeal to someone also. Youd have the smaller bedroom, but much larger bathroom (that also provides access to the full-size washer & dryer). Its cozy and I love it, but Im happy to move to the larger room/smaller bathroom for the right roommate! The smaller room would be only partly furnished. You will enjoy a comfortable shared-living area, kitchen and lanai. The unit is on the breezy side of the complex and we do not have a/c. Your mountain view includes Chaminade University, St. Louis Heights, and Wilhelmina Rise. Water & Cable are included, and we split Electricity & Internet (about $45-$50 per month). Regency Park amenities include: Pool, in-unit washer & dryer, security with guard shack at entrance, parking with plenty of guest parking, fitness room and tennis courts. Location is ideal! Easy H-1 access, close to UH, Waialae Avenue shops & restaurants, and quick hop to Waikiki and downtown. Residents are mainly long-term owners & families and are caring, genuinely friendly people. Building is secure and safe, quiet, and well-built with thick walls. Im often surprised by how peaceful it is here despite its proximity to town. If all these are values to you, please consider at least coming to see the place and meet your new potential roommate! Your roommate (thats me): Professionally employed female, 43, out-going, fun, goofy, people-oriented (family & friends), considerate, friendly, well-traveled and a San Francisco transplant. Im very open-minded with a great sense of humor, and to me, finding a roommate is more than just renting out a room. There needs to be trust and mutual respect between us, and while we dont have to become BFF, it would be nice if we actually had mutual values and interests. Deal breakers for me in a roommate: drama queens, psychos (and psycho exs), dishonesty, hot-dog cookers (bacon ok), prudes, smokers & cats (allergies) and freaks. We have one bedroom available now in our huge Kaimuki house. It rents for $700/month and INCLUDES utilities (gas, water, elec), washer/dryer AND a covered parking spot!! We split the cable and internet bill among all tenants, which is only $16/person. The bedroom is on the ground level and, along with a 34yo female professional, shares its own living room, refrigerator, bathroom and private entrance. It is pretty cute and it is all yours. theres a counter & sink for a kitchenette too, so its everything you need. You share the backyard and laundry room with us--two girls, one guy, all in our early 20s. we are active, busy people who work and go to school. In our free time we like to surf, be outdoors, and do projects in the backyard. Itd be cool if you were the same way because although we dont share living spaces, we share a house and its nice to have cool housemates. Weve got a hammock and a mango tree in the fenced-in backyard. its pretty cute. if you like to garden or whatever theres room for that. You should be: active, cool, and able to pay the rent every month on time.
