This is a great opportunity for someone who needs a room for a month starting July 1 and/or would be interested in securing the lease on a beautiful 5 br, 3 bath home starting August. $2,800 rent split between 4 people is $700 a month (The 5th br is small...we use it for guests and as an office) The lease is up at the end of July, but Im looking to get out a month early (moving in with boyfriend) and need someone to take over my rent. House is very mellow, fun. 2 teachers in mid 20s, one who works a govt job (1 f, 2m) They enjoy the outdoors- hiking, surfing, bbqs, etc. So i guess theres 2 options available: 1. If you only need a place for a month, its a great place. You would take over the lease for the last month ($700+ $700 security to cover yourself- house is in awesome condition) 2. If youre looking to find a place to live with friends/family, but cant get it together just yet, you can move in now and work it out with property managers to sign a new lease, since everyone will be moving on (back to mainland, etc.) after July. This is a great opportunity for someone who needs a room for a month starting July 1 and/or would be interested in securing the lease on a beautiful 5 br, 3 bath home starting August. $2,800 rent split between 4 people is $700 a month (The 5th br is small...we use it for guests and as an office) The lease is up at the end of July, but Im looking to get out a month early (moving in with boyfriend) and need someone to take over my rent. The house is awesome- big and airy with 2 big living rooms, a dining area, new kitchen and parking in driveway. We often walk to the beach. Cats are permitted. House is very mellow, fun. 2 teachers in mid 20s, one who works a govt job (1 f, 2m) They enjoy the outdoors- hiking, surfing, bbqs, etc. So i guess theres 2 options available: 1. If you only need a place for a month, its a great place. You would take over the lease for the last month ($700+ $700 security to cover yourself- house is in awesome condition)2. If youre looking to find a place to live with friends/family, but cant get it together just yet, you can move in now and work it out with property managers to sign a new lease, since everyone will be moving on (back to mainland, etc.) after July.Also, if you need a bed/ other furniture, we may be able to help you a little..Its a situation that may work out for you! Hey, Private room/bath for rent in Kailua from June 8 - August 14. Rent is negotiable based on length of stay. The room is furnished with a bed, headboard and desk. The bathroom is a full bath with plenty extra storage. The condo has a full kitchen and the washer and dryer are located in the unit. This condo is not only on the third (top) floor of the complex, but it is also the end unit which allows for extra windows and storage in the attic area. The condo is one block from the grocery store, restaurants and other businesses. We are less than two blocks from two main bus routes and just a few more from the beach. There is plenty of street parking as well as guest parking. BBQs and bike racks are also located on the grounds, but the complex stays really quiet - wetlands border the backside of the unit. I have a pet bunny, but he stays on the lanai mostly and is litter trained. Other pets are negotiable. It is a gorgeous complex with two elevators in a safe and quiet neighborhood with a pool, spa, sauna (all on the fourth floor right outside our unit), two tennis courts (third floor), BBQ area with grill & outside refrigerator by pool & jacuzzi. Walking distance to many restaurants, shopping centers & grocery stores, beaches, basketball courts, baseball fields and parks. Close to MCBH and buslines. There is a washer/dryer and dishwasher inside the condo. The kitchen is nice and there is a large rooftop lanai. The room will be unfurnished and will come with a parking spot. You will be living with two females. The electricity will be split 3 ways. (Usually about 45 per person) Also the complex includes free basic cable. The master bedroom is separated from the smaller two rooms by a hall way and is on the opposite end of the place. The security deposit matches the rent so it would be 2150 to move in. We are a laid back group of people looking for a roomate to share our home. We are only 2 blocks from Kailua beach park (you can actually hear the surf on quiet nights) as you can see from the picture below. Our street is quiet and very safe and there is minimal traffic. The house is very airy and open, with vaulted ceilings throughout and great cross breezes. There will be four people total living in the house but it never gets crowded as there are plenty of secluded areas to hang out in. There is a BBQ and hang out spot on the side yard, a pool table and also a shady hammock up in the trees on the hillside which is perfect for lounging in on hot days. We are looking for somebody who is RESPONSIBLE, CLEAN & RESPECTFUL. Rent and utilities need to be paid on time and considering that its a shared house you need to be considerate, open minded and able to discuss concerns without creating problems. VERY IMPORTANT: If you have any emotional, personal or financial problems that you cant keep to yourself, Dont Answer This Ad.There is one room available for $700 and there is a security deposit equal to one month rent. Heres a situation which isnt for everyone but might be just right for the right person. And perhaps their dog. Basically, it amounts to getting a private room and a shared-home situation, including food (if you like what we buy!) in exchange for doing some light care and daytime assistance for a nice 86-year-old lady. The area is cool Maunawili. The home is right on the #70 bus route, so a car isnt even needed. Nice neighborhood, park, hiking, view. Weve had an excellent person doing exactly this, but she has been offered a great opportunity and will be leaving us on June 1. A bit of description: The lady is lucid and sweet. She is also arthritic and has difficulty with her balance, so spends the day in her recliner, except for trips to the bathroom. Her son and daughter-in-law live next door and they help with medical, bookkeeping, and oversight. (They may be gone during the day at times). And she has an excellent person who comes in to get her up in the morning and get her to bed at night, doing her hygeine stuff. The rationale behind the live-in position is to prevent falls. She has had a few over the years, and is fragile. We hope for her to have no more falls, and the way we do this is by having someone \"co-pilot\" her to and from the bathroom every 1-2 hours during the day as needed. She walks herself using her walker, but the person walks beside her to help her navigate there and then back again. So this happens about that often during the day, between 10am-7pm. Also, if the person likes to cook, they can do so and eat for free. The son does the shopping and as long as its food his mom likes, hes amenable to suggestions. She also gets the pills from her pillcase mid-day, which is a matter of handing them to her. It is not necessary to be \"around\" her constantly; the housemate can be anywhere in the house or yard, doing artwork, writing your great novel, surfing the internet using the broadband connection, gardening, watching TV in the private room, or anything else. They just need to be around the house somewhere to provide a bit of extra safety when she needs to go from room to room. Some people, who have cared for a family member, might find this sort of duty no problem at all. Others would think of it as a burden. So think about this. Wed like someone who feels happy about it. This is not a paid caregiving position; she cant afford it. This is a way of getting her a little extra safety by offering a nice person somewhere to live. What is offered is a private room in back which has big glass windows and privacy, and looks out on the green hill and trees in back. Its good-sized. There will also be shared use of a bathroom, and the bathroom is only used once per week by the elderly lady when being bathed by her morning helper, so 80% of the time it will be only used by you. There is limited storage space - not a lot. Schedule can be discussed. The current lady has two days per week when she is not expected to be around. Of course when the morning and evening caregiver is around, its also OK to be gone. One thing which may make this more attractive to some people is that its a dog-friendly house with a 10,000 square foot fenced dog yard in back, which adjoins with her sons yard and where their border collie plays. The dogs dont get free run of the house at all times, but its a good place for a compatible dog to live. This is the initial ad Im putting up, I just found out today that the current home-share lady will be leaving, and were sorry to see her go. It will be a bit \"messy\" during the coming month as things are moved in and out, but its a nice location. Really, this is just about seeing whether this sounds like a good situation to a nice homebody-type person. Were looking for the perfect person to fill the vacancy in our home. We have the best location in Lanikai, not actually on the loop so therere no problems with the constant traffic noise and congestion that happens there. Our neighborhood is very safe and secure with no known thefts or break-ins in the 3+ years that Ive been here. The neighbors are great and very friendly. You cant beat the location for convenience to anything you could need. Theres a bus stop around the corner, Buzzs and Kalapawai market within walking distance and everything you could need in Kailua town. Most importantly the beach is only a block away, close enough to hear the surf at night! Being walking distance from fishing, swimming, kayaking, surfing, bodysurfing or a relaxing stroll on the beach at night are truly a blessing. Plus, you get an unobstructed view of the full moon rise off the ocean from just down the street. The house has vaulted ceilings and plenty of windows, which let in a lot of light and fresh ocean air. There are plenty of areas to hang out in to get some solitude. Theres a BBQ area on the side of the house and a secluded hammock area on the landscaped hillside in the back yard, which is very nice for lounging in on hot days. The house is great for entertaining, though we keep it pretty tame with just dinner parties or having friends over for grilling. Theres also tons of storage space for things. It also has all the usual amenities like washer/dryer, etc... There is one room available for $700 with a one month security deposit. The room will be available July 1 The utilities are pretty cheap as we dont pay for water and we have solar water heating, which saves a chunk on the electricity. They are split 4 ways amongst the roomies and there is wireless internet and cable which is an addn. $12/mo. Its really a bargain considering the low cost and perfect location. I prefer long-term renters but if you need something for just a week or so we can accommodate that too. Were looking for somebody who is RESPONSIBLE, RESPECTFUL and CLEAN. Bills need to be paid on time. Considering that its shared housing you need to be able to interact maturely with other people and discuss concerns without creating problems. ATTENTION: Please, if you have any personal, emotional or financial problems that you cant maintain by yourself, Dont Answer This Ad. Other than that were just looking for somebody who is fun and social. And, yes, you can have overnight guests/friends over (within reason, of course). But sorry, no pets.
