The ideal candidate will provide technical oversight and training support on various environmental projects. Responsibilities may include hazardous site assessment, permitting and regulatory compliance, Brownfields or property transfer, engineering support of remediation projects, natural resources management, coastal zone management, and disaster management. Demonstrated strong writing skills. Report preparation and reviews will be required. Previous experience with State or Federal clients a plus. Candidate will also interface directly with clients during most of the work week.Dynamic, growth-oriented professionals with significant technical background to develop strong client relationships within a consulting firm. Experience with execution of projects in the areas of site assessment, brownfields, remediation, civil engineering and related environmental services. All disciplines will be considered, with an emphasis on past performance in project management, technical expertise, leadership skills, communication, and innovation. Technical expertise in civil and environmental engineering, groundwater, and/or regulatory permitting and compliance are desired. Candidates will support projects such as field data collection/audits, data interpretation, engineering design, report writing, cost estimating, and project performance reporting. Candidates with direct client and regulatory agencies interface are desired.The ideal candidate should have strong experience working with multi-disciplinary teams including engineers, hydrogeologists, air quality experts, toxicologists, and regulatory experts. Project experience in site assessment, CERCLA, brownfields, remediation, and regulatory compliance and permitting. Additional consideration will also be given to those with an established client base within Hawaii. Candidates must possess project management skills, convey strong technical writing and oral communication skills, demonstrate an ability to work in a team-oriented environment with professionals from different disciplines, and have experience managing multiple project assignments in a fast-paced environment. Business development, proposal writing, and cost estimating skills a plus. BS in engineering, environmental science or related field. MS with professional registration preferred.
