Even home to the Hawaiian Green Sea turtles. If you have children, or you love to snorkel yourself, please dont miss out on this tropical snorkeling paradise. Even if you do not rent our new 2300 sq ft home, 500 feet from the ocean, and just a four minute walk to the tidepools, come to Kapohos vacationland and discover this area. Now the whole South Coast of the Big Island is just incredible. Lush, tropical, warm ocean ponds, black sand beaches, and lava viewing from the Kalapana. We are located about 40 minutes south of Hilo. Right on the point. As I said, our home, completed in Sept 07, and just this year offered as a vacation rental, is 2300 sq ft. Vaulted large open beam ceilings, tile floors, ceiling fans in all rooms, full kitchen, two bathrooms. Master bedroom does have a private bathroom with a jacuzzi bathtub. Large cupala (tower) over the living room area. We have an outside 360 degree covered wrap around walkway. Hard to describe, but you can see part of it in my photo album Ill send over if you email me. We do have satellite tv, surround sound, and our outside decks all lead to our ocean view lanai. We have a two car garage, nicely landscaped, no neighbors on either lot on the sides of us, or behind us. so you have complete privacy in a lush tropical Hawaiian setting. We are represented by our property manager, Mr. Winston Churchill. Seriously. Winston is my best friend and property manager. Hes also a licensed real estate agent with Re Max properties of Hilo Hawaii, so no worries about this ad. Terms: 100 dollars per night 80 dollar cleaning fee 0 security deposit. I do ask for a small holding deposit, accredited towards your vacation rental. Usually I let my guests decide the deposit. thats it. Kapoho is a remote land, free from hotels, motels, traffic, and large tourist crowds. Primarily Kapoho is an orchid farm area, along with two residential communities. Beach lots and Vacation land. Both offering incredible, easy snorkeling access at the kapoho tidepools, otherwise known as the Wai Opea National marine Sanctuary. These protected tidepools are vast, deep,or shallow, but safe, warm and an incredible adventure for both young and old. We are located right on the south eastern Tip of the Big island of hawaii. These pools are always loaded with tropical fish, incredible coral formations, and are even home to the Green Hawaiian Sea Turtle. Protected from the pounding Hawaiian surf by a volcanic shelf, these pools are like diving into the largest marine salt water aquarium, except theres about a hundred of them. these tidepools are volcanic, but just 15 minutes away are the black sands beaches of kalapana and kehena, lava viewing as it flows into the ocean, ahaluani warm ponds, another geothermally heated tidepool located three minutes from our home, in a park like setting right on the ocean front. Our home was built and completed in Sept of 07 by my son and I. Our home is 500 feet from the ocean, and about a four minute walk to the Kapoho tidepools. Fifteen minute walk to the Champaign ponds of beachlots community. Again, kapoho is a remote area of the Big Island. Tropcial Rain Forests surround us, coconut trees everywhere, along with Hibiscus, Orchids and natural beauties of the hawaiian Islands. Do you surf or boogey board? Just three minutes up the red road is shacks, secrets, as and bs. No crowds great surfing. Even good fishing can be had within a five minute walk from our home. We keep are rates well below that of most other homes in the area, to promote our home being occupied while we are not there. Most homes of our equal would be running, as you can easily verify 175-200 dollars per night. Even in this recession. By keeping our rate at 100 dollars per night we have afforded everyone the opportunity to come to a beautiful Hawaiian Paradise.
