Hawaii Pacific Roller Derby consists of 2 teams, The Axles of Evil and the Voluptuos Villainshttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJSw6wuSH98This is our first Roller Derby bout on oahu in over 30 years. The only thing we lack is the proper venue. Outdoor hockey rinks are designed for Hockey where the seating is outside the rink. Roller Derby fans sit inside the rink. Our track size is 108x48 which includes the required safety zones.We are in search of a venue that can accomodate our flat track ( which is just tape and rope) as well as our fans. We are responsible for all set up and clean up, we have all the required insurance policies regarding property as well as physical. Our bouts do have medics on staff for the just in case scenario. Please do not hesitate when you hear \"Roller Derby\", it is nothing like how it was before. We do have set rules that refs and skaters must follow, we do not encourage violence, there is an object to the game and we want to be treated as a sport and not just entertainment.If you have the proper size warehouse with a smooth concrete suface, please contact us ASAP. The Blue Ginger enjoys a full 180-degree view from the lanai, the living room and the master bedroom. Enjoy an early morning sunrise and some spectacular sunsets over the mountains. The photos you see were taken from the lanai and the back yard. This Hawaiian vacation rental can sleep 2-3 guests. Rates listed are for 3 or fewer guests. There is an additional charge of $25/night for any additional guests. It is designed to sleep as many as two couples with two 12,000 btu air conditioners and two sets of entertainment equipment: TVs, DVD players, CD players and alarm clocks. This is not one of those rentals that advertise close to the beach but is actually on the polluted Ala Wai Canal nor is it one of those residential walk up buildings that has no elevators thus leaving you to carry your luggage up and down many flights of stairs. Kalakaua is where all the major hotels are one block to the beach. There is a Pentium IV computer with high speed internet access and Wi-Fi for laptops. Besides a Deluxe King bed in the bedroom there is a very comfortable genuine Italian leather sleeper couch bed with lots of extra linens. A single futon with linens is provided for a fifth person. Enjoy the X Box with games and a movie video library. The full kitchen includes refrigerator, stove/oven, pots, pans, rice cooker, dishes, silverware, T-Fal toaster, heavy duty blender, top of the line microwave/griller, tea pot, coffee maker and grinder, 2 remote phones, iron and ironing board, hair dryer and alarm clock radio/CD player and ipod docking/player/charger in the bedroom. . | Unbelievable white powdery sand beach just 30 steps from the condo. My old rate was $174 per night! This is a true one bedroom that sleeps up to six comfortably. This is not one of the studios with a small bed area that others in the building (Pats at Punaluu) try to pass off as a one bedroom. This is the ground floor corner unit and the most preferred location so you can avoid lengthy elevator waits on your vacation. Everyone agrees that this unit is absolutely the best location in the building. The latest luxurious upgrades include a $3,000 reclining massage chair, granite counter top, travertine type flooring and state of the art ceiling fans. There is a Deluxe King bed with pillowtop mattress in the bedroom, a full size \"top of the line\" futon couch which is more comfortable than a bed, 2 single futons and even an extra mattresses with pump and lots of extra linens. Enjoy the Pentium IV computer in the bedroom that has high speed internet access and Wi-Fi for your laptop. There is plenty of quality snorkeling equipment, quality Boogie boards and even a movie video library and books. The full kitchen has a large refrigerator, stove/oven, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, track lighting, microwave containers, Chefs knife set, deluxe toaster oven w/rotisserie, automatic rice cooker, 2 color TVs, VCR, DVD Player, Deluxe microwave, coffee maker and grinder, Kenmore washer/dryer, remote phones and clock radio/CD player in the bedroom. Most of the time you have the white sandy beach completely to yourself. Hauula is on the opposite side of the island from the airport and Waikiki and is about 50 minutes to an hour drive. Many movies have been filmed in the area and \"Lost\" is presently filming in Waialua past Haleiwa. Foodland Supermarket is a major chain in Hawaii and located ten minutes away. The ocean is calm because of a reef area 1/4 mile out which blocks the waves. Young and old will enjoy snorkeling and swimming. The condo has internet access, tv, huge king sized bed, futon, enclosed patio (but the breeze just flows right through). Towels, laundry facilities in the unit, pots, pans, cups, blankets, pillows... Very nicely decorated, very clean and within 30 steps to the beach, where the water was absolutely beautiful & calm. We enjoyed sitting out on the lanai every morning to have our breakfast and enjoy the view. If you turn right out of the condos, you can enjoy a very nice 30 minuite drive to Sunset Beach and watch the surfers. Another 15 minutes or so to we were at Haleiwa with its cool atmosphere, plenty of nice restaurants and shops. If you are looking for a quiet, empty, beautiful beachfront place,this is it. The condo is simple but very clean, and well-stocked. We have our own snorkeling gear, but he does stock the place with lots of stuff if you dont. There are beach chairs, boogie boards, and lots of videos, books, etc. (we never used those once!) The beach is safe for kids, because its protected by the reef 1/2 mile (?) away, but its also great for snorkeling. I saw a 400-500 lb. sea turtle a few hundred feet out toward the reef. There are plenty of fish and sealife! Many of the people are retired residents and very friendly. Even Ken, the caretaker/gardener, was super helpful with snorkel/travel tips. The north shore waves/ Haleiwa town is about 20-30 mins. north, and Kaneohe Bay about the same distance south. This is NOT the place if you like to party, drink, club and have Waikiki style beaches and fancy accomodations. We never saw more than 7-8 people at a time on the entire stretch of beach. Also, the washer/dryer is very convenient- you go home with clean laundry! Never saw more than 2-4 people on the beach at a time. The pool, is also just outside the door. This place is great for sleeping, you can hear the ocean waves breaking all day and night. So nice to get up in the morning and have your coffee just steps from the beach. The time of year we went, October, the weather is perfect. The location to outside activities is perfect. The Polyesian Cultural Center is just minutes away. The North Shore to watch surfers is just a 10 minute drive. The super market is also just minutes away. The little store, Kayas, just across the street and down a bit is a perfect spot to pick up small items and a lovely little walk. All the amenities of the big city in a small rural town. If you like a beach vacation, but dont like the city life, crowds and traffic, then this condo at Pats at Punaluu is the perfect place. We will be back. I was a little nervous about renting over the internet, but Mr. Chen made the process a very positive experience. He was professional, communicative and friendly. I must say, that the level of service and customer care he provided is very hard to find these days. When we had problems with the microwave, Mr. Chen arranged for a replacement within 2 hours. My son still is talking about his new friend Emmanuel who took such good care of us.The beach is literally 80 feet from the condos front door. It is also very calm water. We were able to swim here when the current at some of the North Shore beaches was too rough. We never had to share the beach with more than three of four people and the gorgeous mountain backdrop was way more impressive than the Waikiki hotel skyline.I highly recommend this condo. | I got a pro street 69 Camaro project, RS conversion, shortened 12 bolt, ladder bar suspension,strange axles,33x21.5x15 Mickey Thompson Sportsman on rear mounted on polished centerlines, 3 1/2 in front, wilwood disc brakes on front & rear, global west tubular control arms,QA-1 adjusable front coilover struts, new trunk lid, header panel, front and rear spoilers, brand new 8 1/2 inch cowl hood, lots of new parts in boxes... Need paint and wiring, set up for big block, automatic. Have clutch pedal set up as well.. Car needs \"work\" to be finished! Tubs and backhalf done... $8500 cash takes it! Bring a trailer! Body in primer.... (Serious only! No bozos! & no storytellas!) Take it as is or i rather keep it! Lot of parts are not on the car yet! Also has a 454 block, crank and heads (stock) that will go with the car as well...not too many tubbed 69 camaros on da island!
