Hey everyone! I am currently a female sophomore student at Chaminade University. I am in need of a female roommate that has to be moved in by February 1. The rent for the new roommate, due Feb.1, will be $500, which includes everything from water, electricity, and wireless internet. Comes with a washer/dryer outside of the unit that we share with the landlord occasionally. You can also have your own parking stall. Landlord still has to decide if hell charge half a months rent deposit. The studio: Its actually quite a large studio! It was just recently renovated so everything looks really brand new and well taken care of. You will get your half of the studio as well as your own mirror closet. The bathroom is also considerably large with a tub. The kitchen area includes a fridge, sink, microwave, and portable range. There are also a lot of storage cabinets, most which havent even been used yet. I already provided a TV that you are welcome to use. The landlord provided me with a couch that can be converted to a bed so if you need a bed, that option is open. The studio is also located underneath the main house, so there will be times when you will hear a lot of footsteps from the landlords family upstairs, but its really not that bothersome. Rules we have to abide by: I am a bit of a neatfreak. My old roommate, since her half was by the main door, would never put her clothes away and leave them constantly covering the floor so there would be no walkway to the other side of the room. She would also leave her dirty clothes hanging in the bathroom for months at a time. As long as you keep your area neat and clean up after yourself, especially in the kitchen and bathroom, then we will be fine! Also, I would really prefer someone who would also share in doing chores (cleaning floors, cleaning the bathroom, taking out the trash, and so on). My old roommate and I would buy groceries and certain supplies enough for the both of us, so if youre willing to share, I am too! Some other rules include not making your music or the TV so loud, especially at night. Also, even though the studio is pretty big, it limits how big a party should be, so whenever you want to have a get together with friends or something, you have to inform the landlord and me. No smoking or drinking is allowed. Im not sure about having pets of any kind, so you have to ask the landlord about that. What Im looking for in a roommate: I would prefer a female college student. Maybe between the ages of 18-25. UH is only a 10 minute walk away, just to let you know. She needs to be clean, organized, responsible, as well as helpful around the house. Also, she definitely needs to be respectful and considerate of me and the landlords family, who are probably the nicest people youll meet. If you are planning to move out, please inform me and the landlord a month in advance. I would like to meet you before I make the decision, just so I can see if well get along well or not and to tell you any more information about the studio or myself. I also have a boyfriend that comes over quite a bit, but never sleeps over, so I only ask that you do the same if you have one also. I have a bird (cockatiel) that is kept on my side of the studio but for the time being is at my boyfriends house. If you have any problem with this, inform me. what she doesnt tell you is that she has 3 kids, 2 cats, a boyfriend who stays there 1/2 time and hog the little \"shared area\" that there is. (kitchen and 4 stool table)townhome is old and dirty and has shoji screened off the living room, which roommates cannot use along with patio and xtra parking spot that she gives to her boyfriend.has had several roommates come and go, like me, in the last 7-8 weeks. lady said her rules do not apply to her b/c she holds the lease and is easily annoyed.townhome is old and dirty and is family oriented so pool is packed with kids and jealous mothers.washer and dryer goes 24/7 and both need to be replaced.room for rent was very hot and I was there when it was cool outside.
