The semi-dry compartments are big and if you put a dry bag in there then you have even more dry storage. I used the back compartment for my fins and mask most of the time. The open tank well is great if you want to scuba dive off your kayak. I used it mostly for extra stuff, like a cooler and dry bag full of towels and clothes.
