I have a 25 y/o AQHA Appendix mare that is well broke and very gentle. Her name is Halle. She doesn't kick or buck. She is a real sweetheart of a horse and loves to be petted and loved and groomed...she has been used around kids her whole life. UTD on vaccinations and worming. She has really nice hooves; she has never foundered. Stands tied, stands for farrier, loads easy. Will let you walk behind, in front and under her. She is exceedingly healthy, and I have never had to call the vet on her. She looks great and had her last foal 3 years ago. She is approximately 16 hands high. I got her as my first horse three years ago, and I am ready to move up into a horse that has a little more speed. She was the perfect first horse for me and has taught me a lot. She would be a great horse for a beginner, or as a horse to pony your kids or grand-kids around on. She loves to be ridden bareback with just a halter and a lead rope on, and she can be ridden double too. She is used to dogs and cars, and doesn't spook. She is currently being used with a loose ring snaffle, but I have used a hackamore on her before. I am getting a new horse, and my new horse is coming from the same family that I bought Halle from. I wouldn't sell Halle, as I love her, but the pasture won't support three horses where I currently board her. Her price is $500 obo and a good home is a must.
