I built a portable chicken coop (aka: chicken tractor or chicken ark) suitable for 3 chickens but found out that we're not allowed to have them in our subdivision. It includes handles on each end to carry/move it to different places in your yard, a nest box for 3 with a hinged lid to collect eggs more easily, a hinged door to access the roost area for clean up, 2 roosting sticks, and a hinged door access for the run area. All you need to do is paint it, get some feed/water containers, and add 3 hens!
We're sad to have spent the time making it only to have to sell it and are hoping to just recoup the cost of materials only. First reasonable offer takes it.
Keep chickens and have your own fresh eggs. Their fertilizer is great for your flower or vegetable garden, too. You don't even have to have a noisy rooster!
