Red is a beautiful liver chestnut with a star on his forhead. I bought him mainly for trails and rode him a lot last year. This spring he has decided to act a little studly with the mares so I have been working with him in round pen twice a week. He tries to be the alpha but with a gentle reminder will listen and learn well. He neck rains and I have always riden him in a comfort snaffle. I had plans to train him in trail obstacle for shows but I need more time to put in him. Unfortunately because I do not have the time, about 4 times a weeks, he has become too much horse for me. If someone had a trainer or is experienced and will spend the time he will be an awesome ranch, trail, or show horse. He is fearless, crosses water, goes up and down hills, doesn't react to cars or atvs, not afraid of dogs/cats, and doesn't mind children. He is sound and is willing to walk slow but can run like the wind from a dead stop. He has always out run all his pasture mates. He learns better with natural horsemanship rather than by force. Repetition is what he needs. He had his teeth floated, coggins test, and vaccines in April. He is trimmed every 8 weeks or sooner. His front feet tend to grow faster. Has always been barefoot.
