I posted a week or two ago about finding a pet sitter for my pet rat Frankie while I'm gone for the summer in Poland. Plans have changed, unfortunately, and it turns out that the apartment that I'm moving into in August won't allow me to have a pet and my family has no interest in keeping him, as they are not home enough to devote attention to him, which is cruel to the animal. They are also allergic to him, whereas I am not. I need to find a good home for Frankie before I leave on July 5th, so preferably before July 3rd. Ideally, I would like to give Frankie to someone who has one or more male rats already so that he can eventually be introduced to them and have a playmate(s). A few months ago Frankie lived in his cage with his brother, but he tragically died of pneumonia. I can tell that he is really lonely and the attention of just humans is not enough. If you do not have rats, experience with caring for rats would be great. He is house trained and only goes to the bathroom in his cage, and enjoys roaming around rooms to explore. He is very curious and fun to watch and play with :) Those are a few pictures of him.
