We are literally across the street from the nicest City park in Bellevue. It is an active park with a 1/2 mile track around it. Tons of folks use the park, and it even had an ice-skating rink in the winter! We are 1/2 block away from Bellevue Square Mall, 1.5 blocks from the new hip Lincoln Tower with bowling, pool tables, stylish eats, mega-theater and more. To the south we are 1.5 blocks from Old Main street, with whats left of the historic Old Bellevue. To the West another 1.5 blocks is a beautiful lake-front beach, one of many within biking distance. For those needing to commute West towards Seattle, there is a back route to 520 from here that is a major time saver. A little about us. I'm Scott, an LMP, kayaker, and climber. I have two beautiful and very well mannered black labs. Carley is a professional Yoga Instructor / LMP. Laura is our third housemate and she works two or three jobs and is a wonderful person. We're an easy going group (in our mid 20's & 30's) and we love that our house is cozy and clean and working towards greener living and consciousness. We are avid outdoors adventurers year round, enjoying what the NW has to offer such as snowshoeing, rock climbing, hiking, biking, and lots of Yoga. We are ideally looking for a like minded individual who enjoys the fun of community living, and are not best friends with the television. (We do not have cable, but love movies!) We are looking for someone who is mature, kind, honest, willing to support house rules and honors living in a group setting. A few specifics: --Please love dogs. Additional pets are not allowed. Very sorry, there just is not enough room. My dogs are very loving. Please do not respond if you are just OK with being around amazing animals. Happy and Big Bear(Not really all that big) are part of the family atmosphere here. --Please know how to pick up after yourself already. Please only respond if you are already conscious of leaving the space cleaner than you found it. --This is a shared living environment. Meaning that we have a revolving list of house duties that helps us remember what we are responsible for each week. Respectful living means doing your part. --Please have mature Communication skills. We have house meetings when needed, to talk about whatever is new, needs to be addressed, see who has a good joke to tell. Please consider yourself mature and able to communicate well, respectfully, and without excess ego.
