They will fix any issues you might have in the future, in your home, or ship it to get fixed free...If they can't fix it, they will give you a brand new TV of equal capabilities..It's a great warranty that I have used a few times for minor things..bulbs, input port failure...never had any issues getting prompt service...The warranty company (Fry's Electronics) set's up the service for you and pays the provider directly so you don't have to. That's alot of info on the warranty, but with a TV of this size and complexity, it may be the biggest selling point.
