Top floor, corner 1 bedroom apartment - windows facing south and west - beautiful sunsets. With a comfy pull-out couch and chair, the apartment could sleep 5 comfortably (we also have an air mattress for two). Cute dining booth in the fully stocked kitchen. Two antique cruiser bikes available to ride around the city. Come to Washington, DC for 4th of July weekend! Always a ton of free events and concerts and of course fireworks over the Lincoln Memorial and reflecting pool. Great apartment in the historic U Street district - one short block to the metro that will take you everywhere. Within block of the apartment: dozens of bars (from a speakeasy cocktail bar to a Belgian beer saloon and everything in between), tons of restaurants, 2 theaters, 4+ music venues (Black Cat, DC9, Velvet Lounge, 9:30 Club), and much more. About 20 minute walk to the White House, short metro or bus ride to the National Mall and all the museums and monuments. We are a couple headed to NYC for 4th of July weekend (from Thursday the 2nd/Friday the 3rd to Sunday the 5th) to visit family and friends and would like an apartment in Brooklyn, but Manhattan is fine, too.
