I am looking to swap my spacious one-bedroom flat in central London (the nearest tube stop is Angel) for your place in DC. This would be for July, August, and early September, but I am flexible about the exact dates. The flat has a fully-equipped kitchen, a dining table that comfortably seats 4, 2 desks, and a futon in the main room that is perfect for when your friends and family come to visit you in London. The main room has large, south-facing windows with a view of the central London skyline (see the photo below). The bedroom has a double bed, and faces away from the street, so is very quiet. There is a shared washer and dryer in the building. The flat is a 7-minute walk to both the Angel (Northern line) and Highbury-Islington (Victoria line) tube stations, and not far from King’s Cross and St. Pancras train stations, so you can easily take weekend trips to Britain's scenic countryside or even catch the Eurostar to Paris. There are two supermarkts five minutes walk from the flat. It is on a quiet street, but there are many nice (some might say trendy) bars, pubs and restaurants less than 10 minutes walk away. There are also two cinemas nearby, one artsy-type place and one multiplex that shows mainstream Hollywood films (so you can catch the new Transformers movie when it comes out).
