I entered it into a Fine arts competition and it has won 3 different awards. 1st place in the Northern VA reagionals. 1st Place in the State of VA. Finally, 3rd Place in the Nation. I put in at least 200 hours on this painting start to finish and the custom frame and materials alone cost $3000. It is so hard for me to let this painting go, I absolutely love it above my families piano, but I have school bills to pay and dont have a choice. My loss is your gain. Description: This painting with the double frame included is about 6 foot by 3 foot. The paints used were all Windsor Newton Professional grade paints and it was varnished for protection of the colors. I am the artist and This is a one of a kind completely origional idea which I developed from the verse and about 6 different pictures. The verse talks about our adversary the devil walking about seeking whome he may devour. In the picture I painted a reflection in both of the lions eyes of an infant with his face bowed in old wrinkled hands which are folded in a praying manner. The verse is on an engraving on the bottom of the frame.
