The check engine light has been on since ive owned the truck, the code reads misfire number 6 cylinder, it has good compression, a mechanic told me the injectors were common in these trucks so 350.00 later lights still on. When its cold out the light will go out thats how i was able to tag it this year the light went out on xmas eve so i took it over to dmv. Now with that light on i have put 30,000 miles on this truck drove it everyday to new castle for work took it to Virginia/Tennessee, South Carolina and towed a dune buggy back from there with it. And to Michigan with no problems, The truck needs brakes in my opinion, and universal joints on drive shaft. The drivers door sags so sometimes a little tight when opening, the driverside door lock doesnt work i have to unlock pass side and use electric lock to unlock driver door, and i don;t have keys to the cap. Other then that its a decent truck that runs good dont look to bad and is tagged with cold air. This Ukranian built bike was restored by a vintage and Russian motorycycle specialist shop called Scooter Bobs located in West Virginia. They rehoned the cylinders, installed new pistons and rings, new valves, reconditioned cylinder heads, three-angle valve job, resealed fuel tank, ignition timing and points adjustment, new spark plugs and wires, spoke wheel truing, and countless other repairs. The previous owner spent more than $2500 having this bike restored! Unfortunately, he was not a mechanically minded person and never got the hang of kick starting this bike. The bike sat idle for a year following the restoration, at which time I took possession. I have completed wiring repairs, complete carburetor rebuilds with upgrades, installed new throttle sleeve, oil change and have also done a general going over. I previously owned a Dnepr MT-11 and am somewhat familiar with these bikes. The carbs will need to be adjusted and synched and I do not have the tools to perform the job. I just purhased a Road King, and do not have the time or interest in having both bikes. I must sell this bike ASAP, so bring cash and take it away. I am available most days after 1:00 and would be more than happy to show off the bike. I will also be including a few extra parts including a sidecar cover, cold weather front fairing, tire pump, jerry can mount, and a box of other small parts as well as an owners manual. This is a bike that you are guaranteed not to see at the local bike night, and you can take a few passengers along for the ride as well. The sidecar is nice and roomy and has a large storage trunk behind the seat. The only flaws on this bike are a small chip on the fuel tank, a scratch on the sidecar fender and the mirror glass is cracked. I will answer any and all questions. I bought this bike as a project, but I just bought a Harley and could use the cash and the room. It is a 2002 Honda XR200R, 4-stroke 6-speed trans. I have already done a bunch of work to it, and just found out that it needs two new tubes in the tires that I dont feel like buying. I have rebuilt the carb, cleaned and charged the air filter, installed new Pro Taper grips, adjusted the suspension, and done some general tweaking. As I said the bike needs two tire tubes, and it could also use a new chain. I will also include a spare front tire, and a spare front rim and tire. Sorry for the poor pics.
