We are looking for a qualified candidate who has a minimum of 5 years industrial experience with manufactoring processes. The Manufactoring Technical Director will be responsible for maintaining the plant building and ensuring equipement reliability, minimizes lost time, prepares for emergency repairs. The technical diretor conducts inspections, reports results and ensures work assignment results. The perfect candidate will need to be willing to be on-call for assisting the shift technicians and plant manager in addressing any operational situations that may arise outisde of the normal work duties or work day. The candidate must be willing to work 40+ hour weeks and some weekends depending upons production and as business needs arise. Candidate will be responsible for quality assurance and quality control. They will need to be familar and stay abreast of all federal/state/local permits and make sure that the plant is in compliance. Director will responsible for ensuring that safe work practives and procedures are being observed. They will be responsible for reporting workflow, production and various other reports as needed by upper management. As the Director you will be responsible for employee development and qualifications. The Director will be asked to provide input into the training and employee development plan. The Director will play a large role in the interview and hiring process for the facility. Director will be responsible for records of labor operations, workflow management, and must be able to comply and keep accurate administrative requirements current. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Mechanical Engineering, minimum of 5 years experience with manufacturing processes, and have at least 2-3 years experience in the role as a supervisor of professional and technical staff for 15+ employees. Those candidates who have a engineering license in mechanical engineering, six sigma black belt certification in Lean Manufacturing techniques, or similar training in a realted discipline will be considered first.
