The Branch Manager is responsible for the day to day operation of the branch office, leading branch planning and goal setting activities as well as the development of all branch associates. Responsibilities: · Promote the benefits of Scottrade to prospective and current customers. · Execute trades for customers who either walk-in or call over the phone in an accurate and professional manner. · Provide customer service for all aspects of account maintenance. · Keep up with reorg items, margin delinquencies; call customers to inform them of exercises, short option report, miscellaneous debits. · Take lead information from potential customers and discuss the type of account paperwork needed with customer. · Handle customer complaints and problems. Work with the compliance department as necessary. · Review all branch reports. · Keep branch statistics and P&L reports and ensure credit and charges are correct. · Approve all paperwork before going to compliance. · Maintain tally sheet/leads database reports/yearly summary.
