I am a Ph.D. student at the University of Maryland, College Park. I share a 3 bedroom apartment with 2 other roommates, one works in a non-profit in DC and the other goes to school with me. Only the roommate that works at the non-profit will be there while you are at the apartment.It is a three bedroom apartment of which I am renting out one room from mid-July to mid-August. The bedroom, living room and dining room will be furnished. The room up for rent will have two desks, desk chair, and a desk lamp, an airbed w/matress protector, and some closet space. So basically all you will need are clothes. The kitchen has dishes, silverware, water filter, blender, and microwave. The tenant will also share a bathroom with one other roommate. In addition to being near the Silver Spring METRO station, it is also walking distance to Downtown Silver Spring. Whole Foods and Giant grocery stores are about 2-3 blocks away. There is a free bus (Van Go) that has a stop across the street from the apartment that goes to downtown Silver Spring where you will have access to fast food, sit-down restaurants, and shopping. There is also a METRO bus stop across the street from the apartment.I am looking for a man or woman that needs to be walking distance (less than 2 Blocks) to a Metro station and needs to get started or has a summer job in Maryland or DC, only looking to rent out a room for approximately 1 month and is a clean person that keeps their word and is considerate of others and is respectful of other peoples property.Utilities, cable and internet are included in the rent. It is about 1 mile from downtown Silver Spring (http://www.downtownsilverspring.com/main.html) and about 1 mile from CVS, grocery store, etc. It is down the street from a 7/11, various fast food places, and a Blockbuster video store. There is also a free shuttle that runs to the University of Maryland and picks up at the Metro station.The condo is a \"Jr. 1 bedroom\" which, as you can see from the pictures, is a studio with a semi-wall between the living room and the bedroom. The place would come fully furnished with leather couch, two end tables, coffee table, microwave, computer desk & chair, two dressers, tv, dvd player, full size bed, and nightstand. It would also include everything you would need in the kitchen (pots, pans, silverware, dishes). It may be possible to leave the desktop computer. I could keep the high-speed internet connected (with wireless router). I dont have cable tv now, but it could easily be added. It has a large walk-in closet, and built-in storage.
