The ideal candidate will have the demonstrated ability to organize, plan and multi-task; excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills; and the ability to work in a dynamic work environment, both independently and with a team.To be successful in this position, individuals must be detail-oriented and have excellent analytical, problem solving, and computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software. Our company is currently seeking a Biostatistician to plan, analyze, review, interpret and summarize the statistical component of research projects in compliance with regulatory guidelines and requirements. This position includes the following duties:•Analyzes and interprets data resulting from multiple projects or clinical studies.•Works with clients to develop study design, analyze large complex data sets and ensure data integrity, compliance with protocols and appropriate methods of analysis.•Reviews and analyzes clinical research projects with respect to scientific scope, study procedures and human subject issues. •Determines study type, design, endpoints, randomization, tests for significance, and reports. •Assists in the preparation and updating of the Manual of Operating Procedures (MOOP) and ensures definitions are current.•Interacts with client scientists in an effort to determine the best study design and method of analysis.•Provides statistical guidance for staff members.•Assists in the development of clinical trials guidelines •Participates in writing submissions to regulatory agencies, scientific papers and contract proposals. •Some experience with clinical trial managementQualified candidates must have a PhD and 3-5 years experience with clinical trials, expertise in biostatistics working with clinical data, good working knowledge of SAS for statistical analyses, experience working with multiple studies, performing numerous roles and dealing with clients and the medical/scientific community.
