2006 Kawasaki Z1000 $5300 12,900 miles This Z1000 has carved a new class of its own. Based directly off the back of the well proven ZX9R, the frame geometry is that of a sports bike, with the ZX9 engine bored out to 1000cc it is given even more mid range. The riding position however is quite upright with Motocross style handlebars that give the Kawasaki Z1000 the agility to take you off the \"A\" roads, past the \"B\" roads and onto the country twisties. This bike is absolutely clean and decent looking, always garaged and serviced on time with the best oil. It looks and runs like new. I have the clean title in hand and the bike is paid off. I put a high quality sprocket and chain on it and went down one tooth in the front and one up in the back, which makes the bike accelerate even harder and gives the bike even more low end torque. Custom 1980 Suzuki GS 750 four valve. 8 thousand miles, carbs completely rebuilt and jetted. Hand made and covered fiberglass tail section with tuck and roll vinyl. Tank professionally painted, clip on handle bars. Completely disassembled and rebuilt, all paint fresh, all parts of bike restored. New wiring harness and battery. ADDED 24 June 2009 The seat is a one off piece i formed out of fiber glass then it was professionally covered by Steve Bell at bells interiors in Laytonsville (www.bellstrim.com). This was a compete restoration. Every piece of the bike was disassembled, any unnecessary tabs and mounts on the frame were removed and smothed out. Everything has been professionally painted by Auto Body Craftsmen in Rockville on Gude Drive. The original wiring harness was too big and worn out so i rewired the entire bike paying special attention to routing in a way that hides as much as possible from the eye (the side panels have been removed revealing everything. The bike has had the starter and relay replaced. The carbs have been totally rebuilt with an acid dip then a dynojet stage three jet kit was installed with pods filters. The bike has had the front fender removed, lowered 2 inchs and has had clip ons installed. The head light is from a 73 Honda CB750 with Triumph Bonneville ears that hold the light. The rear of the bike has also been lowered 2 inches. The bike has a functional tach and a speedo gauge that is not, lights work on both (lights are tied to the ignition to let you know when the key is on). A new o-ring chain has been installed with new front and rear sprocket (not stock size, to make high speed cruising easier on the motor). The engine has been freshened up, cleaned and runs perfect. These bikes are known to run forever. Up for sale is a 2006 Honda CBR 1000RR in Silver with an extended warranty, which is good till May 2010. This jacket is practically new, worn for about half a season last year until I got a leather jacket. Comes with all the standard armor in shoulders elbows and back and includes a liner for the winter. Liner works superb, Ive ridden in mid 40s and stay warm. 1997 YZF 1000, “Thunderace”. Extremely Rare and one of the last one’s left in the country in its beautiful unmolested stock form. Only16k adult ridden and pampered miles!!! Bike has always been adult owned has never been down; always garage kept. The YZF 1000 was brought into the country for the year of 1997 only, making it already hard to find, especially one that has not been modified. The Thunderace was born between the FZR1000 and the R1. Unlike the R1 the Thunderace is more comfortable, and has a better low end due to the exup valve. Of course it weighs a bit more, but that only ads to it’s stability on the open road.
