Professional needs a place to get away and do some writing. Would love to work out an arrangement to house/apartment sit for you and cover your utilities and perhaps an additonal stipend. Hello, Im in my early 30s, professional female, financially sound, with excellent credit and references. I dont smoke/party/do drugs, have no pets, and leave my places in better condition that when I arrived. I am an outdoorsy wannabe-athlete, completed a number of marathons and triathlons (even an Ironman), and can consume sick amounts of chocolate in a single sitting. Essentially, Im your ideal tenant. What I am looking for: A one-bedroom, possibly a shared rental, for an indefinite time period. I prefer a month-to-month, which leaves open the remote possibility of my finding a place to buy next year. I want to live in the Capitol Hill or NoVA area. I have my own (second-hand) furniture, but can ditch most of it. I have a car, so some sort of parking situation is needed. Proximity to a metro is a must, since I work in downtown. Current situation: 5 months ago, I gave myself 24 hours to move out of a relationship/apartment situation. I found a place in Pentagon City, where I have been finishing out someones lease. This lease comes up July 31st. I can extend on a month-to-month basis, but need to give 60 days notice. I prefer not to, since the rent goes up a lot and I dont really like the area. I want to move to North Arlington, where all my running/biking/swimming groups are, or to Capitol Hill. Let me know if you think there is a fit. i just recently moved out of my parents house and im having trouble finding a room that is in my price range. Im looking for something low till i can get back on my feet and will gladly start paying more as i move up in my job. I work for a landscaping company during the day and im a VOL.
