No key (it is unlocked). I took it apart to move it - the curved glass is out so it is safer to move... and it can be carefully restored with the glass out easier than with it in... I will take the first 500 dollar offer - or the best offer over 300 dollars by the 15th! that is right - for less than the price of the curved glass... a whole antique curio - hand-made- note new picture of base - unique design of feet and the wood \"posts\" with their cutouts. This piece may be \"depression era\" - there are signs of veneer... but its a beautiful piece and can be made solid once you have it in place... just a little TLC! Dining table and chairs (not matched set) table has a round wooden top 54\" diameter - 18\" leaf makes it oval (total then 72\" wide) - has wrought iron base. Hello-I ordered the sofa set in High Point, NC at the great Furniture Land South (http://www.furniturelandsouth.com/). Apparently it is the largest furniture store in the world... Based on my experiences (with over 40 furniture stores including the low quality stuff in Marlo, Roomstore and Haverty), I would say that the furniture is of a great quality and you get the quality for the price (in addition to the looks). It took me 4 months to get the sofa delivered. The sofa has been hand-made here in the USA but the leather was imported from Switzerland. I paid about ~$6700 for all the items combined when I bought them. The items are about 18 months old. The table is made of solid rosewood and is very heavy. I am really picky and I have spend close to 3 days in High Point and Winston-Salem areas of NC (which are world-renowned for furniture) to select these sofas. The table is a nice piece of art which is made of solid rosewood. I browsed through 150-200 tables before picking this one. You will really appreciate its beauty. The table makes a beautiful center piece for any living room, family room or basement of a house. All the items are of a cherry flavor as you can see in the pics.
