For the fourth consecutive summer, Intrax International Institute has been awarded a grant from the Dept of State to provide a 3-week, multi-city educational and cultural tour of the United States, for a group of about 25 embassy-selected international high school students. The workshop participants take morning classes in English and American culture, and participate in afternoon activities, cultural tours, and volunteer opportunities around the DC area. Academic Program Information The program curriculum focuses on Intensive English classes and American Culture. Workshop students are generally highly motivated and eager to practice English and learn about American culture. Serves as liaison to the staff of the Uniformed Services University Family Health Center to ensure that the scheduling of exams is consistent with clinic availability.4. Reviews the Medical History Form, the Cardiovascular History Questionnaire, and other questionnaires, interviews, and forms that will have been completed by the candidate or by research staff.5. Conducts mental health, drug use, and family history interviews. 6. Informs Principal Investigator, or designated staff person, of eligibility of each subject examined. 7. Discusses with the candidate any problems observed, as well as any questions the candidate has regarding the research protocol. 8.
