Most of LogistiCare Healthcare Managers have backgrounds in medical social work. Minimum requirements for this position include experience with facility based social service programs, including facility discharge planning, superior communication skills; excellent problem solving skills.Qualified Candidates will be knowledgeable of clinical UR and QA, Medicaid guidelines and covered services. Prior Member Services or UR Manager in a health-plan a plus. This position functions as an advocate within the non-emergency medical transportation system for patients and case-managers alike throughout the state of Virginia providing in-service training to facilities on how to use NET services effectively and to promote positive relationships.
