Walter Reed is a 113 acre installation, with approximately 25 buildings. The primary objective is to provide services and deliverables through performance of varying clinical and administrative functions to the Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC), Warrior Transition Brigade. Most tasks will be performed at the Walter Reed installation; specifically Buildings 2 and 38, with a high majority being performed within the National Capital Region and limited travel to other military installations. The NCM works under the general supervision of the Senior Case Manager. Position RequirementsEducation: Bachelors Degree (4 year degree) of Science in Nursing or Associates Degree (2-3 year degree) resulting in receiving certification as a Registered Nurse (RN). RN must have an RN License and complete Basic Combat Lifesaving. 5 to 10 years of professional expertise in a wide range of healthcare practices, principles, and concepts, and extensive experience with medical practices and procedures of considerable complexity to analyze the full scope of problems associated with providing appropriate, cost effective health care to soldiers.
